This module provides an overview of the diversity of animal and plant life from biological, economic, ethical and ecological perspectives. The status of biodiversity both locally and internationally and the impact of current threats from habitat destruction, introduction of exotic species, disease and over-exploitation will be discussed, together with possible human interventions to stem the loss of biodiversity.

This module will help you to complete this jigsaw puzzle. It covers the principles of food selection, examines your personal eating habits and identifies ways to promote healthy eating for general well-being through sound nutrition principles.
